Default Do you use a salt and pepper grinder?

Do you grind fresh black pepper and salt? Or do you buy salt and pepper that has already been ground? Do you prefer the taste of one or the other? Or does it really make a difference?

Grind my own -- have 2 sets of grinders. Flavor is better with ground.

I brought down a salt mill. It was a corrored heap of junk in two months. Something about the humidity and the salt together. I just keep my kosher salt in a little container now.
