Cabbage soup 1 pound Ground turkey
1 pound Ground round
1 teaspoon Natures Seasonings
2 medium onions, chopped
1 can diced tomatos, 14-1/2 oz.
2 cans kidney beans - light and dark
1 can black beans
2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose, sifted
1 can beef broth
1 cup water
1 cup homemade tomato sauce (optional)
1 1/2 medium cabbage, chopped very course
3 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Maggi Seasoning
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder Lightly brown ground round and turkey in a small amount of olive oil, sprinkling garlic salt and Natures Seasonings over meat. Remove, drain, and set aside. In a 5 quart pot, saute onions and garlic in a small amount of butter and olive oil. Add flour and continue to stir. Add all other ingredients and heat to low boil.
