We've been on natural gas over 15 years now & absolutely love it! Whenever we have moved, that is the first thing hubby has installed, a gas line for the grill! Our new grill has a great rotisserie unit along with side burners which we use a LOT!!!!

I've burned out a few gas grills and have a Brinkman 3 burner now. I prefer to use my charcoal grills. I have a 14" Weber and a 18" Weber which I use regularly according what I"m grilling. Haven't used my Green Egg in a couple of months. That's for specialty cooking like large roasts, pork or beef. For flavoring I like Mesquite or Hickory.

Never owned a gas grill. We have a Weber kettle and use charcoal, works for us. Really don't cook out as much anymore. Used to do it more often when Dad was alive and living with us. He always enjoyed grilling and did a lot of it.

Personally---natural is just plain easier to use. Some people have said they can "taste" the propane, but I never found that the case. Besides, you don't have to fill bottles or tanks with natural gas!!!!

Hi, I brought down a charchol water smoker and a gas grill plus I just built a gas fired outside oven. I love the little smoker but the charchol here in Mexico is very difficult to light. I find I don`t use it as much as I used to, perhaps once a month. Now with the oven completed which I have the ability to also use as a smoker, it may be used even less. I realize with a smoker it`s the wood not the charchol which adds flavor, so over all I perfer gas.
Best regards, Don

This is a loaded question!
Charcoal/wood cooking is the most flavorfull with gas being quick and easy. It all depends on you.....

Years ago we used to use charcoal, then we loved to propane -- now it is the gas grill.
