Default New Dinner Impossible

Robert Irvine has been replaced by Michael Symon -- the newest Iron Chef -- he own his title in 2007.

The new Dinner Impossible isn't suppose to start until August. But Sunday evening in our area one of the 1/2 hour pilots aired.

This is one of his recipes that I am going to try:

Chocolate covered bacon!!

The bacon was cooked until it was very crisp. Then cooled. The bacon was then coated on both sides with milk chocolate. Before the chocolate hardened, crushed almonds were sprinkled on top.

Now -- for me -- I will use DARK choclate.

And I don't see any reason why you can't use any kind of crushed nuts.

Okay -- I made them!!

But I put wax paper under my wire grid so as to catch all the extra chocolate -- I LOVE CHOCOLATE and didn't want to waste one drop.

How were they -- DH is not supposed to eat bacon -- but he had 4 strips!
