i usually am in las vegas for thanksgiving, but this year i think i'll actually be home.

the day after i've got plans with friends to go to a nice dinner and see "A Christmas Carol" the stage production...

We are beaching it also, but again on the cold side. We are going to Gleneden Beach on the Oregon Coast. DH's boss owns a condo there and they invited us to go with them. It's a lovely condo, we try to use it at least 5-6 times a year but it's about a 6 hour drive.
For those that haven't seen the news latelly, there has been JUST A TAD BIT of rain over here this last week. There are 3 beach houses just down the coastline right next to our condo that are on the verge of falling into the ocean due to sudden beach errosion. I love the rain and the storms, but I sure feel for those people right now...

As for turkey dinner, we are going out to The Bay House instead of cooking. We did this a couple of years ago and the meal was wonderful.

If it's nice, that's wonderful. Especially for day-after shopping!
If it's stormy, that's OK, too. The ocean is so active and wonderful to watch when it's stormy out.

we aren't for sure but thinking about going to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and spend it there (eat out) maybe at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

That sounds like a nice time too, we love Tennessee, go to Fairfield Glade to play golf every year for a week!!!

When is all of the WIND and Rain going to be over for you all? Blizzard (many of us know from CLF) mentioned 60 mph wind ....
