Default Hello from Mexico

Greetings,My wife and myself have relocated to Mexico from Colorado going on five some years. We keep very busy with hobbies and various charities we work with. To that end, she and I have compiled two recipe books to raise money for our projects. The "Bounty of Bucerias" for the Children`s Library and our last book in second printing " A Taste of the Bahia" for an orphanage starting construction this year. One of the requirements for submission of recipes was ingrediants must be available locally here in Mexico. In other words if we couldn`t make a recipe work with what was on hand for us, it was rejected. "A Taste" had over two hundred recipes so you can bet I was cooking up a storm.........lol It was then I decided to build an outside oven as our summers here are just too hot to use an oven. I completed the oven about three weeks ago and have been using it quite a bit. Last night was a boneless roast done water smoker style. Perfect. Anyways, nice to find this group.
Regards, Don

Welcome Don!! How interesting is your background. Did you retire and move there? Were you sad to miss the snow storm that just hit in Colorado?
