Well I did a bit of research on other cooking forums out there and there really aren't all that many and none that is a real huge success. Which poses an interesting synopsis for us unlike that of CLF which has 3 major competitors.

Now of course we know that we already have the best site but sometimes you have to prove that with numbers and the next largest cooking site has about a 5 years of time ahead of us and has the following stats:

Threads: 23,272
Posts: 289,612
Members: 8,234

And an average of around 550 posts a day right now.

Quite frankly I think we can do that within 1 year!

So the gauntlet has been thrown my fellow casual cooks! Lets take it to the top!

BTW we are doing about 200 or so posts a day. To put in perspective CLF is doing about 1100-1500 daily now.
