Tonight was a Blimpies! Had a busy day at work, actually stayed until 3 even though I was supposed to be off at 2, then I hit DSW (shoe store) and got stuck in traffic on the way home. Got home at 5 and found an exhausted stressed husband waiting for me! We sat and watched some news together before running to go get our son at an after school thing at 6. Needless to say NO ONE felt like making a meal!!

Our daughter stopped over yesterday after work and asked if I'd make a nice meal on Sunday for her and her boyfriend. I haven't fed them in a while! I think I'll make a pork roast in my rotisserie

How old is she and how long have they been dating this guy cause I would ask my mom if she would make a nice meal for me and my boyfriend (if I had one) if he had proposed and we wanted to tell them over a nice meal. Well that's if my mom cooked well.

Hi Heather!
She'll be 24 next month and has been seeing him for about 6 months now. I do think they're headed in that direction but I just saw her last night and we talked a bit about it and no...it's not yet. She only moved out in June and I'd make a nice sunday meal for them pretty often on a sunday. Since she's moved out though, it's only been a couple of times and it's been a while...and I think they're hungry for good food!

Tonight is Sloppy Joe's. I got a new cookbook the other day, The Everything Slow Cooker Cookbook. I don't normally even buy cookbooks anymore but this one has a lot of good ones in it. I'll post it later if it comes out good! Sure SMELLS good though!v
