Fall Tossed Salad

1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
3 to 4 ounces blue cheese
1 head ICEBERG lettuce (broken into bite size pieces)
3 TART apples (cored and sliced into wedges ... do NOT peel)
1 small red onion sliced into rings

In salad bowl pour 1/4 cup salad dressing and add half of the blue cheese. Mash the cheese into the dressing. Add lettuce, apple slices, and onions. Crumble remaining blue cheese on top.

When ready to serve ... toss well with remaing salad dressing.

Note: This is something I always look forward to fixing in the FALL when those nice tart apple start coming in! It's easy to "cut back" when you just want to have enough for two ....
