Is there one person you hate to invite to your parties (but know you have to because of obligations) because they always manage to spill or drop something on your rugs and table cloths?

I have the opposite problem. We sometimes go to my mil's for dinner and she constantly is tipping over glasses, etc. in her enthusiasm to get things on the table. I'll help clear the table, but I can't do much for setting the table as she keeps kosher and plates and silverwear are either designated for dairy or for meat (and never at the same meal!). So if she uses a specific fork for a dairy meal, it'll never be used for a meal at which meat is served.

I never worry about spills, or something that can be cleaned up.

I grew up with an uncle however, that broke a piece of china or glassware at almost every holiday dinner we had, until my mom bought a service for four of larger sturdier goblets and dinnerware that complemented her special china, and we called the "Manly" dishes. I don't know if my uncle didn't see well, or what, but today my mothers service of twelve which was left to my sis has 11 plates, 10 dessert bowls, 9 soup plates, 11 dessert plates, and 10 each, cups and saucers. There are twelve salad plates. Maybe he didn't like salad!!

Yeah, that person is me! I aggravate my sister a lot, because I can be a bit clumsy at times.
