What does everyone do about alcohol?

Do you have an open bar where the guests make their own drinks?

Or do you make everyone's drinks?

Since we have a bar in our home, if it is a small gathering John will make the drinks. Sometimes, we place wine in different areas for self serve.

If we are having a large gathering, we hire a bartender from the country club to help.

I also always make a cocktail punch at another station that is self serve! I place a recipe card by it so everyone knows what they're drinking.

When Ed was a young Marine Corps NCO, he did some moonlight bartending and still mixes a fine drink, so he tends to do the bartending at most of our functions.

We use an open bar for larger, more casual parties.
