My mother had a set of them -- pewter -- heavy.

When she died I brought them to my house - only ever used them once.

Pewter would be heavy not to mention hard to keep cleaned to I would think!!!

I noticed the other day while I was cleaning my silver that Wright's Silver Polish was WAY better than that dipping stuff.

Anyone with experience with both???? I thought the dipping stuff made the silver a yellowish color.
