If you don't want them, do this:

Go into your User Control Panel (User CP) and select "Options".
Go to the Messaging & Notification box and find "Default Thread Subscription Mode". Set it to "No e-mail notification".
Scroll to the bottom and click on "Save Changes".

Try setting it to 'Do not subscribe' and then go into your User CP and delete all of the threads you are subscribed to. Let me know if that works.

Okay -- I changed to "Do not Subscribe".

Some of the threads are marked "unsubscribed", some are marked "week" and some are marked "none".

Do I have to delet the ones that are marked "none"?

Well, the good news is, since you have your default setting as "Do not subscribe", it will not add any new ones.
